Oxfordshire 2 Week Wait referral thresholds for elevated PSA:

  • Age 40-49 = >2.5 mcg/L
  • Age 50-59 = >3.5 mcg/L
  • Age 60-69 = >4.5 mcg/L
  • Age 70-79 = >6.5 mcg/L
  • Age 80 or above = >10 mcg/L

The threshold is halved for those taking 5-alpha reductase inhibitors
