Conditions

There are various reasons why patients present to the Limb Reconstruction Team for advice or treatment.

Some of the more common conditions include:

• bone infection (osteomyelitis)
• limb deformity (congenital, malunited fractures, rickets, Paget's, Blount's, absent rays, growth plate problems)
• non-healing fractures
• limb length discrepancy
• bone tumour surgery
