Nocardia

Samples are cultured for the presence of Nocardia species using selective agar slopes; these are incubated for 21 days.

  • Pus, tissue and bone samples

Send in a sterile universal container, if sending a swab, send in a ∑-TRANSWAB® (MWE) tube (purple top)
