Stone service

• Shock wave lithotripsy (SWL)
• Semi-rigid and flexible ureteroscopy (URS)
• Percutaneous Nephrolithotomy (PCNL)
• Laser fragmentation of bladder stones
• Metabolic screening service and dietary and lifestyle advice
• Metabolic stone clinic (in collaboration with Prof Chris Pugh in Renal department)

Female urology

• Urodynamics
• Medical management of overactive bladder
• Botulinum injection into bladder
• Incontinence surgery

Reconstructive

• Male urethroplasty for urethral strictures
• Artificial urethral sphincters (AUS)
• Formation and revision of ileal conduits

Spinal injury patients

The unit works in collaboration with the National Spinal Injuries Centre at Stoke Mandeville Hospital to provide urology services to patient with spinal cord injuries.
