The Research Nurse, Midwifery and Support Team for the Division of Cardiovascular Medicine (CVM) forms part of the Radcliffe Department of Medicine, University of Oxford.

Led by a senior research nurse, Catherine Krasopoulos, the team comprises highly skilled and experienced research professionals with clinical expertise in cardiovascular medicine.

The Division of Cardiovascular Medicine is one of the top cardiovascular research centres worldwide and has been at the forefront of cardiovascular science for over 40 years.

The Research Nurse, Midwifery and Support Team for the Division of Cardiovascular Medicine supports studies in translational research and basic science within the environment of cardiac Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) and spectroscopy, cardiac CT scanning, echocardiography, cardiac and vascular physiology studies.

The team is based within three University of Oxford clinical research facilities:

located at the John Radcliffe Hospital.

Our research nurses are active across a diverse portfolio of research, from supporting basic science and PhD fellowship studies, to leading observational studies and delivering commercial and University sponsored clinical trials.
