Maternity and Obstetrics

We offer the complete range of maternity healthcare services - our doctors, midwives and other clinical staff have expertise in supporting women through high risk and complex pregnancies, as well as through normal births.

Your consultant will provide a complete package of private maternity care that includes antenatal, intrapartum and postnatal care. Your consultant will organise all booking arrangements, including arranging anaesthetic and other clinical support, and will also undertake to be present at the birth of your baby.

You will be seen by the physiotherapist to provide advice on exercises that will assist you following the birth of your baby, and a paediatrician will examine your baby before you both go home.

Obstetric diagnostic tests

A full range of maternity ultrasound services are available from consultants specialised in this field, including:

• nuchal scans
  
• anomaly and growth scans
  
• transvaginal scans
  
• prenatal amniocentesis
  
• chorion villus sampling (CVS).
