We see both child and adult patients for diagnosis and management of mitochondrial disease, with genetic management being a major feature of the service.

Patient information events
These are held annually in Oxford and include presentations from the Oxford Mitochondrial Disorders Service team and charity stakeholders, as well as a buffet-style dinner.
They provide an ideal chance to ask questions of the clinical team and an opportunity to network with other people living with mitochondrial disease.
