Oxford Genetics Laboratories

Oxford Genetics Laboratories comprise the Oxford Regional Genetics Laboratories and the Oxford Molecular Haematology Laboratory.

We deliver state-of-the-art clinical diagnostic services to the UK and internationally for a comprehensive range of genetic and genomic investigations for rare disease and acquired (solid tumour and haematological malignancy) disorders.

We work in partnership with laboratories in the West Midlands and Wessex to form the Central and South Genomic Laboratory Hub (C&SGLH), delivering the NHSE National Genomic Test Directory for NHS patients throughout the South of England and the Midlands.

The Oxford Genetics Laboratories are designated national specialist providers for a comprehensive range of cardiology, endocrine, eye, haematology, mitochondrial, musculoskeletal and neurology disorders for NHS patients in England. The laboratories also offer these services to the NHS devolved nations, internationally and to private patients.

Clinical advice is available to clinicians on all aspects of service provision; further details are available from the 'Quality' page.

The laboratories are accredited with the United Kingdom Accreditation Service (UKAS) to ISO15189:2012 (Ref No. 8694). Further information on the laboratories' schedule of accreditation is available from the 'Quality' page.
