Reporting of results

Results from the gait analysis are interpreted in an inter-professional meeting.

The report includes:

  • patient's history
  • clinical examination
  • interpretation of:
    • video
    • kinematic
    • kinetic
    • foot kinematic
    • plantar pressure
    • EMG data as applicable
  • treatment recommendations including:
    • physiotherapy
    • orthotic provision
    • botulinum toxin injections
    • Surgery
    • other as applicable, such as imaging or referrals to other specialised services.

Referrers and physiotherapists receive the report along with the clinical examination, example graphs and data.
