Equipment

The Oxford Gait Laboratory is fitted with video cameras and 3D infra-red cameras from Vicon.

We use forceplates from AMTI for recording forces and have a pressure plate from Novel for assessing plantar pressure.

The Oxford Gait Laboratory is jointly owned and operated by the NHS and the University of Oxford.

In particular, we have close links with Department of Engineering Science, based in the Botnar Research Centre:

and the Nuffield Department of Orthopaedics, Rheumatology and Musculo-skeletal Sciences (NDORMS).
