Trust celebrates 11th annual Staff Recognition Awards
06/09/2024
Members of staff, volunteers, and their nominators came together at Oxford Town Hall to celebrate excellence at the Oxford University Hospitals (OUH) Staff Recognition Awards on Thursday 5 September 2024.
This annual event is organised by the Trust and supported by Oxford Hospitals Charity to recognise colleagues for the amazing work they have done in the past year.

Excellence, Compassion, Improvement, Learning, Respect and Delivery.
There are also awards for Oxford Hospitals Charity Supporter or Volunteer of the Year, a Patients' Choice Award which patients and their relatives nominate for, a Chief Executive Officer's Award, and a Chair's Award.

More than 2,800 nominations were received for this year's Staff Recognition Awards, and a shortlisting panel comprising staff from across the Trust had the difficult task of selecting the finalists.
Professor Meghana Pandit, Chief Executive Officer at OUH, said:
"Attending our Staff Recognition Awards is always a humbling and heartwarming experience. It's wonderful to hear stories of great care from across our organisation, and importantly to have the opportunity to thank everyone who is part of our OneTeamOneOUH for all that they do.
"Congratulations to not only our finalists and winners but also to everyone who was nominated."
Professor Sir Jonathan Montgomery, Chair at OUH, said:
"It is a privilege to attend the Staff Recognition Awards and see the extraordinary work carried out by our staff - and also the affection and respect given to them by their colleagues and patients."
