Smoking cessation
Would you like support to stop smoking?
We work in partnership with the Stop for Life Oxon team to offer one-to-one support for staff, outpatients and their families living or working in Oxfordshire.
We can also provide stop smoking support and referral to local stop smoking services for those outside of Oxfordshire.
Hospital inpatients can access support from our team of stop smoking advisers and request NRT during their hospital stay to remain smoke free.We can refer you to your local stop smoking service for ongoing support if needed.
We are offering telephone and video call support via 'Attend Anywhere'.

#SmokefreeOxon
The Oxfordshire Tobacco Control Alliance has released its vision to inspire a smoke free generation in Oxfordshire and is aiming to reduce the overall prevalence of smoking in the county to below five percent by 2025.
What's more, the South East Tobacco Control Network has developed a position statement on Electronic Cigarettes based on the latest evidence available. While not risk-free, they carry a fraction of the risk of tobacco smoking and can be used to support you in your quit attempt. Vapes can be used on Trust grounds, ten metres away from buildings.
You can read the statement here (pdf)
