We do encourage you to cycle to work, and there is bicycle parking on our sites. This is indicated by bicycle icons on the hospital site maps.
Staff can also benefit by purchasing a bike through the Cycle2Work salary sacrifice scheme.
Cycle2Work salary sacrifice scheme
You can access the scheme through your mylifestyle account for which you will have received login details.
If you are a new starter to the Trust you should shortly receive an email confirming your login details to mylifestyle.
Car share
Share your journey to work - you don't need to live in the same street or postcode, as sharers can be picked up en-route.
You will be able to share fuel costs with your sharer, reduce the cost of your annual Parking Permit and you will only need one Permit per vehicle.
Visit the Liftshare website to register for free.

Bus passes
Bus services serve our four hospital sites. An annual bus pass will give you a year's travel with up to a 30 percent discount. You can use the pass whenever you want, not just for work. You can also by daily, weekly and monthly tickets.
Visit the OUH intranet or bus companies' websites for more details of bus passes.
Rail season ticket loans
If you want to travel to work by train, you can apply for an annual season ticket loan.
Once approved the Trust will reimburse you the cost of your ticket (minus one month's payment). You then repay the loan by monthly deductions from your salary.
This is an interest free loan - please speak to Payroll about eligibility.
For season ticket prices visit National Rail Enquiries and use the Season Ticket Calculator.
Motorcycles
There are areas set aside for motorcycle parking on our sites, which is free. These are indicated by motorcycle icons on the hospital site maps.
Important - e-scooters
Voi e-scooters are available within Oxford via the Voi app on the Apple App Store for iPhone.
These e-scooters are not allowed on our hospital sites - they will cut out near the entrances to our hospital sites and will not work on site.
Privately owned e-scooters must not be brought on to, or stored on, our sites due to safety concerns.
