Paediatric Dietetics referrals
Inpatient referrals
Inpatient referrals should be made via EPR Requests & Prescribing > 'Refer to Dietetics - Children', following the dietetic referral criteria and documented in the child's medical notes.
All new acute dietetics referrals are prioritised according to the child and family's clinical needs.
Outpatient referrals
Outpatient referrals can be made via EPR 'Dietetics - Children's Hospital' outpatient pool.
Referrals are triaged by the Dietitians and allocated into the relevant dietetic specialist area outpatient clinic and location (John Radcliffe Hospital / Horton General Hospital).
