Stand for election to our Council of Governors

16/01/2025

As a Foundation Trust, we have a Council of Governors made up of the public, our staff and partners, who help guide and advise us on how to meet the health needs of the community we serve.

Our governors play a valuable role by holding our Non-Executive Directors to account, ensuring that the interests of the Trust's members are taken into account and helping to shape our plans for the future.

Our governors are elected by our members, and we have vacancies for public and staff governors in all constituencies.

  • Buckinghamshire, Berkshire, Wiltshire and Gloucestershire
  • Cherwell
  • Oxford City
  • Northamptonshire and Warwickshire
  • South Oxfordshire
  • Vale of White Horse
  • West Oxfordshire
  • Rest of England and Wales
  • Staff - clinical
  • Staff - non-clinical

Every one of our Foundation Trust members living or working in one of these constituencies has a right to vote and stand for the role of governor.

If you are passionate about the NHS and would like to influence our plans for the future, please consider putting yourself forward.

To participate in the election as a candidate or voter you must be a member of the Trust or be a staff member in the clinical or non-clinical constituency on or before the closing date for the receipt of nominations which is Monday 3 February 2025.
