Staff accommodation
Oxfordshire is a popular place to live and, as a consequence, housing can be more expensive than other parts of the UK.
The Trust is conscious of this issue and participates in a number of schemes to help, whether you are renting or looking to buy.
In addition to living in central Oxford there are some picturesque easy to commute towns and villages which are perfect for tranquil leisure and home time.
Living in Oxfordshire
Staff accommodation
In conjunction with our partner housing providers, we are able to offer on-site accommodation at approximately 20 percent below market rents to help staff with a wide range of requirements and budgets.
We have access to around 950 units of single accommodation and a limited number of one and two bedroom self-contained properties (all subject to availability).
Who is eligible to apply?
The accommodation is available to everybody involved directly with the Trust but priority is given to clinical staff moving to the hospitals from out of area.
Provision of accommodation
Accommodation is usually provided on an assured shorthold tenancy agreement for six months. If you are applying for a new job at the Trust, you will be asked at interview if you require staff accommodation; the appropriate paperwork will be forwarded to you at the conditional offer stage.

Staff hotel
The Trust has a 'hotel' facility on the John Radcliffe site whereby rooms can be let on a nightly basis. The hotel is mainly there to support clinical staff with difficult shifts who have a long commute; it can also be used by visitors to the hospitals for short periods of time such as to attend a course, seminar or interview.

Prices do vary but are usually cheaper than local bed and breakfasts and hotels.
